Size Matters

Are you having a hard time finding a decent pair of shoes in a men’s size 12.5? I feel your pain.

I worked in one of the most well known, big-box sneaker stores for almost a decade and when I tell you that men’s size 12.5 you’re looking for is rare I am not exaggerating.

When you crack open a case of men’s sneakers you’ll usually see a size run that starts with 7.5 and ends with size 12. In all my years in the business, I can count on my hand how many times I saw a size 12.5 in any of my stores. That’s why this site was created.

One of your feet is bigger than the other one. Don’t worry it’s normal. That’s why they measure both your feet in the shoe store. Because of this fact, your best bet is always to go with the size of the larger foot. The problem with the size 12.5 guys is the same problem with the 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, and 11.5 guys. The next size up is too big for the smaller foot!

Sure some shoes run big, but those aren’t always the shoes you want. Let’s stop settling for the next size up or down. Let’s stop wearing shoes we don’t like because they’re the only ones that fit. Let’s wear shoes that we like in the size that we are, 12.5. Welcome to 12nAHalf.com. WE GOT EM.
